Supermoon brought together industry veterans to discuss the challenges and strategies surrounding TGEs, liquidity management, and the evolving landscape of MEV. Moderated by Abraham Choi (Lightnode Ventures), the discussion featured insights from Alex Momot (Peanut Trade), Meina Zhou (Sprout), Anatolii Padenko (Kolibrio), and Nicolai Reinbold (CVVC).
The panel opened with a critical examination of TGEs and the factors that contribute to their success. Alex Momot emphasized the importance of community sentiment and precise execution. “Momentum is everything,” he noted, stressing that aligning incentives and timing across platforms is key to maintaining attention in the fast-moving crypto markets.
Adding a business perspective, Meina Zhou underscored the role of liquidity planning and token holder alignment. Zhou advised projects to strategically map out their liquidity sources, partnerships, and communication plans. “You need a comprehensive business roadmap for TGE. Retail users must see a clear plan and understand the next steps,” she explained.
On the topic of MEV, Anatolii Padenko broke down its impact on token launches, identifying front-running, back-running, and sniping as the core issues. While front-running increases volume and liquidity fees, back-running often leads to toxic flow for liquidity providers. Padenko suggested projects carefully manage their launch flow to avoid unnecessary volatility, recommending, “Deploy to a single venue on day one to minimize risks.”
Meina Zhou provided a forward-looking perspective, highlighting the convergence of AI agents and DeFi products. As AI continues to evolve, Zhou predicts a rise in AI-driven liquidity management, which could lead to more efficient markets. “AI agents are rational, function 24/7, and reduce emotional decisions. This trend will reshape market dynamics,” Zhou explained.
Nicolai Reinbold offered a broader perspective, stressing the importance of building real communities. While market hype can drive TGE success, Reinbold warned against relying solely on short-term speculation. “The best communities are those that understand and use your product,” he concluded.
As the panel wrapped up, participants agreed that while emerging trends like RFQs and cross-chain liquidity are advancing the space, a mix of technical preparation, business planning, and community engagement remains essential for any project’s success.
With the evolving role of AI, decentralized liquidity tools, and refined MEV strategies, the industry is witnessing both opportunities and challenges. For founders, the key takeaway is clear: success in TGEs and DeFi requires a strategic blend of momentum, preparation, and long-term community alignment.
